Now I've heard it all. The President of the United States used the word "fabulous" to describe warriors.

non-FSG news (or Why I couldn't go to the Main Ritual)

After reading Sascha's, Joe's, and Christine's posts about FSG I am so very sad about not having been able to witness what reads like a resoundingly profound spiritual experience. I will regret missing it... ...for some time to come.

On the other hand, our hospital facility not only survived the Joint Commission accreditation, but excelled. Our particular divisions within our hospital were among the divisions doing the best - with compliments on patient care and procedural excellence. Other divisions also did well, with only 7 recommendations for improvement where most academic institutions of our kind and size typically receive 10 to 12.

So hooray for us at the hospital, and yet it's small solace for having to miss the spiritual event of the summer: yet another occasion of Vingolf excellence. Hail Vingolf !!!
